Jaylee A., Clyde G. and Jean-Luc B. were recently selected to attend a Cyber Academy hosted by Deloitte.
The students participated in a number of challenges against a number of other schools from across Sydney. The challenges, better known as a capture the flag hacking competition, saw students required to find clues, solve a variety of challenges to find flags; in forms of a string of text that usually reads “flag” or "key" hidden somewhere in the challenge.
The topics varied from Exploitation, Password Cracking, Crypto, Web Security.
We congratulate Clyde and Jean-Luc and Jaylee who took out first, second and third place amongst the other 30 students in attendance. Clyde will now progress to the next round of the competition in July.
