Uniform

The school uniform our boys wear today has been founded on history, tradition and what we aspire for our students. At all times, students are ambassadors of the school and are expected to wear the uniform in a way that presents a positive face of Parramatta Marist.

We believe that our students are to be judged, not by the religious symbols they wear, but by their actions. We believe that the students should not draw attention to their faith by the wearing of symbols that would distinguish between those who are Catholics and those who are not. It is how we celebrate our diversity through unity that will be a mark of our students becoming Men of Marist.

It is a condition of enrolment at Parramatta Marist that the uniform be worn correctly and that students wear it with pride. It is for this reason that we adhere strictly to our uniform policy to show everyone that our students are one and it is in that unity, we live out our values of compassion, courage and commitment.
